Rising Above Tragedy: Empowering Families in the Wake of Champlain Towers South
(On June 24, 2021 at approx. 1:22 am EDT, Champlain Towers South, a 12 story condo in Miami collapsed and 98 people died.) Amidst the devastating loss, our compassionate team mobilized swiftly, standing as a beacon of hope for families ravaged by unimaginable grief.
For an entire week, we dedicated ourselves to providing essential assistance to families who traveled from abroad, facing limited resources and communication barriers. Understanding the importance of collaboration, we worked closely with the Chilean and Paraguayan consulates, pooling our efforts to extend unwavering support to those in need.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we partnered with the Florida District Attorney’s Office to ensure vital funds were secured. This collaboration aimed to alleviate the financial burdens faced by families during this arduous time, as they anxiously awaited the return of their beloved ones.
