About our foundation…

The Gummakonda Reddy Foundation is a private not-for-profit organization formed and funded primarily with personal contributions from Mr. Shekar Reddy and Mrs. Shylaja Reddy.

The success of this foundation relies on donors, volunteers, and organizers who share their time, and expertise to help us raise funds. Our foundation’s support programs promote children’s education and health in underdeveloped nations.

What We Do

— Education

To provide a world class Club experience that assures that success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character & citizenship and living a healthy lifestyle.

Gummakonda Reddy Foundation has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and conducting Back to School Backpack giveaway program

— Disaster Relief

On June 24 2021 at approximately 1 22 a m EDT, Champlain Towers South, a 12 story beachfront condominium in the Miami suburb of Surfside, Florida, United States, partially collapsed Ninety eight people died Four people were rescued from the rubble, but one died of injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital Gummakonda Foundation was on site for a week helping the families of the victims coming from outside the country and with low resources and communication problems We also worked with consulates from Chile, and Paraguay to relocate families and with the help of the Florida District attorney’s office, we were able to help allocate funds to these families while waiting for the remains of their loved ones

— Food Drive

South Florida Hindu Temple is a place where hundreds of people come together for collective prayers each Sunday morning The Temple’s culture is one of inclusiveness and celebrates festivals from all corners of India.

Gumakonda Reddy Foundation has partnered numerous times to distribute food to individuals and families in need in our community every day in partnership with Florida’s Homegrown Foodbank

— We Educate

C.Crowdwe Boys Girls Clubs of Broward County offers a safe and supportive environment for children so they can learn and have fun With themed weeks, programming combines social emotional, physical, cognitive, and language learning to help children in their overall development.

Gummakonda Foundation has been a long side partner of this program by helping children with backpacks and monetary necessities to families struggling to give proper education to their children

— International Help


Gummakonda Foundation is a supporter of Akshaya Patra Foundation USA, which is one of the largest school lunch providers in the world Through the organization’s flagship Midday Meal program, they address low school enrollment and attendance rates low socialization rates between different castes, and poor nutrition for some of the most underserved children in India.

In our effort to manage the distribution of resources we are proud to help AIM For Seva a service organization in India, founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati in 2000 to make education and healthcare accessible to children in rural areas of India It is a non governmental organization in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council

— Funeral Costs

The Gummakonda Reddy Foundation aids low income families unable to afford funeral costs financial assistance is available to help pay for some or all the funeral costs of a loved one in families that lack insurance or working poor, as well as senior citizens who live on a limited income

— Gumma-Pups

The Gummakonda Reddy Foundation is now actively helping some of the most vulnerable creatures on earth as everyday dogs and cats are neglected, left in the streets to die when they are sick or killed in shelters The Gummakonda supports rescue efforts that help our furry friends find loving homes We think that Dogs and Cats are part of our families, and they deserve to have a good life, just like us

— Homeless Help

At Christmas 2021 the Gummakonda Foundation served families and individuals in Miami Dade County who have fallen upon tough times and became homeless, bringing them boxes that included personal hygiene items and food and gift cards

— International Help

Sewa International is a Hindu faith based humanitarian nonprofit service organization, which serves humanity, irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, or nationality We specialize in disaster relief and rehabilitation services In addition to our work in the US, we have undertaken development projects in Colombia, Guyana, India, Kenya, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka Sewa started the “Help India Defeat COVID 19 Campaign to raise funds to purchase supplies and ensure that the much needed lifesaving medical equipment like oxygen concentrators and ventilators are acquired and shipped to hospitals across India

Gummakonda Foundation is helping in 2022 PARAM SHAKTI PEETH of America ( is a not for profit corporation whose mission is to catalyze socio economic change and accelerate the poverty alleviation mission in India through a multitude of social programs for the bottom of the pyramid population, with the highest focus to the underprivileged children During the Covid 19 pandemic PSPA sponsored relief work associated with the pandemic needs

Bhumi Global’s mission is to engage, educate, and empower people and communities to address the triple crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Our work is based on Hindu principles of environmental care. With each passing year, we see increasing signs that Mother Earth is suffering. Climate change, loss of wildlife and forests, pollution, and many more concerns are damaging the health of the planet and people everywhere.
